Cherryville has deep-rooted ties to the cannabis industry during the prohibition era. With a population of 717 residents, the isolated yet accesible agricultural community nestled into the Monashee Mountains was a perfect location for growing high quality cannabis while not attracting the attention of those wanting to destroy their crops.
